AIDI is the main nonprofit association in the field of illumination in Italy.
Active since 1959, the Association plays a vigorous and constant action of scientific, technical and cultural diffusion of knowledge of issues related to lighting. AIDI has always been an ambassador of modern Italian culture of light, and has witnessed, since its creation, history and image of its Affiliates.
A courageous and enlightened entrepreneurs, scholars and personalities from academia, service companies, planners, lighting designer, lighting experts who, by their intelligence and commitment, have contributed not only to life and development of the association but even to Italian lighting in the world.
Eng. Gianni Drisaldi is president of the association since 2009.

APIL is the Italian association of professionals working in the fields of light.
It was founded in 1998 by a group of professionals throughout the country, listed in their professional orders. APIL joins with other associations on national and on European territory and collaborates with them on joint development programs and promotion of lighting culture. APIL is active in several areas: design and urban planning and territorial public lighting in outdoor, lighting plans, lighting design in all environments civilians, internal and external; advice to institutions, companies and enterprises for analysis and studies on materials, devices, instruments, components, communications systems, measures, verification, testing, adherence to regulations and laws.
Eng. Gianni Drisaldi is counselor of the association since its foundation.

The Order of Engineers of the Province of Perugia is the professional association that brings together all engaged in the profession of engineer in the province of Umbria.
Eng. Gianni Drisaldi has been counselor of the association from 1997 to 2009 and he has active roles in Electrical Systems committee and Systems for Fire Prevention committee.
